Library Services wishes to recruit a Senior Subject Librarian to support the Faculty of Science and Technology and to support the Principal Subject Librarian in managing their subject cluster.

The successful applicant will have previous experience in delivering library services within a Subject Librarian team, ideally within the subjects of Science & Technology, including: effective academic liaison and engagement; information literacy support and training, delivered in person and online, to academic staff, researchers and students; and collection development ensuring best use of the learning resource budget.

With excellent communication skills the applicant will need to work with the Subject Librarians and the wider Library teams to deliver customer centred services on time, within the resource allocation and to a high standard. The successful candidate will have high level IT skills relevant to HE libraries and a good understanding and appreciation of the wider developments and strategies in the library sector.
