An exciting opportunity as arisen for a permanent Medical Secretary (Band 3) within our Maxillofacial Department at Musgrove Park Hospital. This is for 30 – 37.5 hours per week, but negotiable for the right applicant.
We are seeking an individual who is an excellent team player and thrives in a busy environment. Applicants should have good organisational, interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure. You will work as part of a team providing administrative/secretarial support to our clinicians. The successful applicant needs to be able to multi-task and have a good working knowledge of numerous IT systems. A good typing speed and previous audio typing transcription would be preferred.
A medical audio typing test will form part of the interview.
