Be Caring Tyneside is seeking to recruit dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our friendly home support team working as Community Care Assistants across the Newcastle area.

You will provide care and support to meet individual personal care needs around medication, washing and dressing, cooking, cleaning, shopping and promoting access to community groups and services.
What we offer:
- New starter bonus – up to £160
- Attendance bonus – up to £120
- Mileage allowance – Average £175 every 4 weeks (40p per mile)
- Full and Part Time Hours
- £9.11p/hr + 50p per hour – Attendance bonus when 100% attendance (not inc. planned leave)
- Paid Training (Classroom and online learning)
- Fully funded diploma in Health and Social Care (upon completion of 6-month probation)

- Early Shifts | 7:00am-3:00pm
- Late Shifts | 3:00pm-11::00pm
- Alternate weekend working
Previous care experience is not essential; we are looking for people who can live our values.
As a Community Care Assistant, you will be kind and compassionate, building caring and supportive relationships with the people you support and their families. You will deliver personalised care and support to people in their homes. You will place dignity at the heart of the care you provide, maximising independence through enabling approaches and building care and support networks for individuals, involving family and friends and their local community.
Typical care and support tasks within a care plan include; personal care, including intimate care, administration/prompting of medication, preparation of meals/drinks, completion of domestic tasks, including laundry, cleaning and shopping, and promoting access to, and attendance at community groups and activities.
