In accordance with Section 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 this post requires the ability to converse at ease with the members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English.

Rochdale BC are looking to recruit an innovative and dynamic Information Systems Development Officer to work within a busy ICT team on transformational projects as well as providing support to existing systems. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be logical, able to identify user’s requirements and incorporate these into solutions and reports that meet their needs.

The successful applicant should be passionate about delivering high quality solutions to meet demanding internal and external customer requirements and be able to manage competing demands to meet strict deadlines. The role requires flexibility to work to multiple deadlines whilst ensuring that users existing statutory processes are supported to meet evolving needs via service delivery, customer services, proactive management at Rochdale Council and to ensure value for money, whilst constantly striving to improve services for customers.

Training will be provided where necessary for the appropriate candidate.
